About this piece
Pair of aqua pressed-glass candle holders from the Depression Glass era (1920s–1940s). Each features intricate pressed and embossed detailing, with fluted columns rising from ornate bases. The sculptural profiles catch and diffuse candlelight for a softly luminous effect.
Produced at a time when coloured glassware—often in aqua, pink and amber—was made widely accessible, these examples illustrate Depression-era manufacturing that combined economy with finely worked surface patterning. The design bridges late decorative traditions and the streamlined sensibilities of the early 20th century.
- Suited to taper candles; white, cream or soft pastel tones complement the glass.
- Display as a pair or integrate with other vintage glassware.
Dimensions: 25 cm H
Condition: Excellent
