About this piece
Set with five slightly graduated old mine cut diamonds totalling 2.40 carat, assessed as H/I/J colour and SI to SI1 clarity. The older cut suggests the stones may have been repurposed from an earlier jewel, a practice consistent with the era. The firm W.H. Tandy & Sons were prominent Birmingham jewellers and silversmiths in the late 19th and early 20th century. The ring presents in good antique condition.
