About this piece
A vintage silver plated iced water jug - squat, generous and satisfyingly heavy, the sort of piece made when serving water at the table was worth doing properly. 14.5cm tall with a 14cm body. Marked PLATE and U.S.A. to the base with a maker's mark. Beautiful as a table piece, or holding blooms. CONDITION: vintage pre-owned with patina, tarnishing and age consistent with silver plate.
