Beautiful pure silk rug purchased in Egypt in 1997, featuring an intricate floral design, central medallion and cream, peach, gold and deep blue tones.
Measures approximately 100 × 150 cm.
Recently professionally cleaned and the ends overlocked by Persian Carpet Art Centre in Brisbane. The original fringes are no longer present; the finished edges are shown in the photographs.
Persian Carpet Art Centre also provided a written valuation of AUD $14,550, available for interested buyers to view. This is the documented valuation, rather than a guarantee of resale value.
