About this piece
Charming vintage pommel horse handcrafted into a bench seat with turned solid timber legs. This pommel horse was acquired from the decommissioned gymnasium equipment of a private Sydney high school and the original base was removed, adapting the height to a bench seat height with the addition of the custom timber feet. There are scuffs and wear to the vinyl pommel horse and timber handles, as expected with years of use. The timber legs have been handcrafted to imitate the aged patina of the pommel horse and so include intentional aging and scuffs. Includes original “Action” stencilled typography and graphic to both sides. The perfect character filled bench seat for a corridor, games room, library, home office, rumpus room... or even a man cave! Truly phenomenal one off piece.
