About this piece
A breathtaking piece of vintage Polish handmade art glass — a frosted lily / trumpet vase by Stiver, Poland, 1970s. The deeply ruffled, organic rim was shaped entirely by hand while the glass was molten, meaning this is a completely one-of-a-kind piece.
What makes this example particularly special is the soft pink opalescent glow visible when held to light — the glass shifts from white to a delicate blush, giving it an ethereal, luminous quality that photographs beautifully on a windowsill or in natural light.
The elegant scroll base adds a sculptural, almost Art Nouveau quality to the piece — sitting as beautifully as a standalone object as it does holding a single stem.
