About this piece
A striking pair of vintage lamps that marry 1970’s California warmth with mid‑century form. Each lamp features a woven cane decorative base with a removable top, set atop a smoky brown timber block. A metal stem rises from the timber block to support the lampshade. The pair is in good pre‑loved condition: the linen shades show some age spots and one of the shades has a crack in the internal plastic. The cane displays minor inconsistencies, and the timber bases bear light signs of use. Both lamps are in working order. Sourced in Sydney; no maker’s marks or labels found. Origin unknown.
