The ceramic body features a finely moulded relief scene of classical figures within a pastoral landscape, surrounded by neoclassical detailing including fluting, foliate borders and a pedestal base. The raised figural decoration and gilded accents are characteristic of Capodimonte style Italian decorative ceramics popular during the mid to late 20th century. Finished with brass toned fittings and a simple neutral fabric shade. Good vintage condition with minor rubbing, marks and wear to the gilt and ceramic consistent with age and use
