About this piece
Tall, grounded light with the quiet authority of early twentieth‑century interiors. Produced in Europe during the interwar period, the lamp combines a slender turned timber shaft with a weighted circular base, a utilitarian format widely seen in hotels, libraries, and large domestic rooms of the 1920s–1930s. The proportions are architectural rather than decorative, designed to occupy space without excess ornament. Its restraint allows it to sit alongside both traditional and contemporary furniture, carrying atmosphere without demanding attention.
