A beautifully proportioned vintage French fauteuil in the Louis XV style, with a shaped timber frame, gently curved arms and elegant cabriole legs. Upholstered in a soft cream and champagne striped velvet, with a generously cushioned seat finished with ruched sides and elaborate looped passementerie trim. The padded armrests and upholstered back continue the same tonal palette, while the warm timber frame retains a lovely aged finish. Wear and marks to the timber consistent with age and use. Some wear, marks and age to the upholstery and trim as pictured.
