About this piece
In the tradition of Italian modernist glass furniture associated with FIAM, this low set square coffee table uses the transparency and strength of thick clear glass to create an architectural form without a conventional frame.
Broad, gently radiused waterfall curves descend from the tabletop to form four substantial glass supports. The continuous visual relationship between the horizontal surface and curved vertical elements gives the table a remarkable sense of lightness despite its considerable glass construction. At just 22cm high, its expansive square proportions establish a strong, understated presence while allowing the surrounding interior to remain visible through the glass.
