About this piece
A stunning Empire Revival lamp table featuring a circular top above paired column supports with brass capitals and bases. The frieze is adorned with classical brass mounts, including Medusa-style masks and foliate ornamentation, drawing inspiration from the elegant neoclassical furnishings of the French Empire period. Rich timber tones and architectural detailing give this piece a timeless feel, making it equally suited as a lamp table, occasional table or decorative stand. In vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use, including scratches and marks to the top, minor scuffs and small losses to sections of the base and edges, and general wear to the finish. These imperfections have been reflected in the photographs and do not detract from the table.
