About this piece
A vintage cast metal table lamp with an architectural scrollwork base, centred by a stylised foliate finial and set upon a broad stepped plinth. The dark aged finish highlights the sculptural form of the metalwork, with symmetrical scrolling elements giving the lamp a distinctly old world character. Finished with a mustard yellow painted linen shade, casting a beautifully warm light when illuminated. Wear and marks consistent with age and use. Minor wear to shade as pictured.
