About this piece
Description: This vintage garden table with a cast base has the warmth and character with its solid timber plank top. The ornate trestle end base features decorative scrollwork and is joined by a stretcher, providing excellent stability while showcasing traditional foundry craftsmanship.
The timber top has developed a beautifully weathered, cream-painted patina through decades of use, creating the authentic, aged character that is highly sought after in both indoor and outdoor settings. To preserve its appearance, the top has been sealed with a matt protective finish.
Originally designed for outdoor, garden, picnic or pub use, tables of this style have become increasingly popular as statement pieces in the home, where they are used as hall consoles, sofa tables, or feature tables. The combination of the industrial cast base and naturally aged timber top makes this a versatile piece that complements country, industrial and contemporary interiors.
