The chair retains its original tapestry, patterned with florals in deep reds, greens and golds. The upholstery shows wear on the seat and fraying on the lower backrest. There is patina to the stud detailing at the top of the armchair. The timber frame has not been restored and remains in original condition, showing knocks and minimal wear consistent with age.
