About this piece
A vintage brassed table lamp with a classical column form, fluted stem and stepped square base, paired with a custom shield shaped shade covered in Schumacher & Co. fabric. The blue and ivory textile features a stylised historic animal and foliate motif, giving the lamp a decorative European feel. The shade is finished with contrasting piping and a neutral interior. The brassed finish shows wear consistent with age and use, including tarnishing, spotting and surface marks throughout.
