A limited edition Villeroy & Boch porcelain trinket dish from 1998, produced to commemorate the celebrated maker’s 250th anniversary, 1748-1998. The circular lidded form features a raised portrait medallion of founders Nicolas Villeroy and Peter-Joseph Boch, surrounded by a rich raspberry border and finely detailed gilt decoration. Finished with black and gilt bands around the body. Marked to the base “Villeroy & Boch 1748-1998, Luxembourg, Vaudrevange, Edition Limitée 1998”. In lovely vintage condition with only minor wear consistent with age and use.
