Rare Utö pine chair by Axel Einar Hjorth, manufactured by Nordiska Kompaniet, Sweden in 1932. Einer Hjorth was a pioneer of Swedish modernism. His pieces are iconic for their strong proportions, beautiful craftsmanship and union between tradition and modernism. Stained pine good original vintage condition, wear consistent with age. Please keep in mind this is an original 1930’s piece, so minor imperfections are to be expected and add to the character of the chair.
