About this piece
The Ruth Chair and Ottoman, designed by renowned furniture designer David Trubridge, are celebrated for their sculptural form and clean lines – making them highly sought after pieces among collectors. Originally crafted in the early 2000s, this rocking chair was thoughtfully re-finished and gently restored to be a part of our newest curation of Vintage pieces. Trubridge has cited that his experiences sailing and being immersed in nature inspired the organic form of the Ruth Chair, an iconic example of functional design that balances strength, fluidity and timelessness.
