About this piece
In the manner of Gillows, comes this superb rosewood three tiered servery circa 1850.
The splendid rosewood construction has produced a superb quality piece that is set to last for generations to come. Consisting of three tiers, this servery has a mirrored back, and is generous in its proportions. It features a marvelous fretwork gallery and further fretwork to the sides of the lower tiers. Beautifully turned finials crown the top of the servery. All shelf edges have been gadrooned, adding to the quality and craftsmanship of the piece.
The side supports are a masterclass in turning and carving, with fluted columns, carved corbels, and beadwork.
