About this piece
Mid-century wine or lamp table by British furniture makers Royce Dennison & Smith, distinguished by a scalloped-edge top and a refined, balanced profile.
The design emphasises clean lines and organic forms associated with the period. The profiled top introduces a sculptural perimeter, while the timber grain offers natural warmth and visual depth. Proportions suit use as a wine table, a lamp stand, or an occasional side table beside a chair or sofa.
Slender, carefully shaped legs provide stability with a sense of lightness. The piece reflects the maker’s focus on fine materials and precise workmanship, presenting a considered example of mid-century British furniture design.
