  These are a very good set of Eight stylish earlier 1900s probably in the 1920s so probably now 100s years old which qualifies them as being antique English made and crafted in quality solid Mahogany Dining Chairs in the earlier elegant 1700s Georgian manner. The set comprises of a pair of carver or end chairs with arms and six side chairs so eight in all.

  The chairs are of classic elegant design with tall shaped and waisted backs each with s curved and shaped full height central splat. The seat rails are of serpentine form on the sides and bowed at the front. The front legs are of attractive and elegant cabriole form and terminate in pad feet. The upholstered seats lift out for easy maintenance and an easy recover with fabric to taste.

  Some chairs have had minor 'animal' damage to some legs so we elected to do a sample chair coloured and polished black and the central splat veneered in a contrasting well figured and honey coloured timber which looks fabulous.

  Condition: We are offering the set of 8 chairs in 'as is' structurally sound condition however we can organise any colour application and finish along with any required treatment for the back splats plus reupholstering the lift out seat to taste and at a trade price.

  Although traditional in design with a black lacquer finish and smart fabric these chairs would also sit well in a stylish contemporary interior.
