About this piece
Striking set of six postmodern dining chairs featuring sculptural tubular chrome frames with cobalt blue upholstery.
The flowing architectural lines and exaggerated arm detail give these chairs a bold late 1980s Italian-inspired aesthetic, equally suited to contemporary, eclectic and Memphis-influenced interiors.
Comfortable and visually light despite their sculptural form, the chairs work beautifully around glass, travertine or minimalist dining settings.
Upholstery presents well overall with age-related wear and patina consistent with vintage use (see photos). Chrome frames retain a clean overall appearance with some surface wear and oxidation to lower sections as photographed.
Good vintage condition.
