• bazaa_backup_original_description: This striking and shapely armchair takes distinctive cues from the Scandinavian mid century modern tradition. Specifically, the curved lines of the high quality timber frame channel the Norwegian furniture designers who excelled in moulded plywood furniture in the early 1970s.Whilst the maker is unknown, the cushioning shape is reminiscent of similar designs by Danish Deluxe, the frame and overall form mirrors early versions of the famed Siesta Chair by Ingmar Relling for Westnofa, and the deft use of curved plywood seems most closely aligned with the works of Joe Rüfenacht. The designer may remain a mystery, but there is no doubt that this chair has been lovingly crafted to stand the test of time.It is in very good condition with only minimal wear, to the high quality blush pink leather, and the cushions are plush yet firm. The timber is also in admirable vintage condition, with only minor scratches which are largely unnoticeable to the naked eye. Structurally, there are no issues. The approximate dimensions are:Width 71cm;Depth 85cm;Height 87cm;Seat height 40cm;Arm height 51cm.
