What makes this piece genuinely rare is its colour story, sage and pistachio woven together across the entire base, threaded through with veins of pale lavender and the faintest hints of aubergine. It's an unusually sophisticated palette for a piece of this age and scale. The field carries a dense all-over composition of scrolling vines and small florals, repeating without a dominant central medallion.
