One of the most iconic modular furniture systems ever designed, the Royal System by Poul Cadovius transformed the way people thought about storage.
Designed in Denmark in the late 1940s, Cadovius believed furniture should be lifted from the floor and mounted on the wall, creating lighter, more flexible interiors. More than seventy years later, the Royal System remains one of the defining pieces of Scandinavian Modern design.
Crafted in beautifully figured Brazilian Rosewood, this original 1960s configuration offers an exceptional balance of display, concealed storage and workspace, making it equally suited to a living room, library, dining room or home office.
