About this piece
The Parker Nordic has to be one of the most popular sideboards in Australian design history. It uses book matched teak, three doors over four drawers, and the Cats Eye pulls that made the design so extremely desirable and popular. We have a 2 door, 3 door and the 4 door version if you are looking for different size options. All three are available at time of writing but they won't last long, they never do.
Parker began in Sydney in 1935. Tony Parker joined in 1949, studied industrial design, and brought Scandinavian influence to the range in the early 1950s. The Nordic sideboard, with its Cats Eye handles, became the design the name is best known for. The handles are recessed into the front, with nothing fixed to the face. It suits almost any space, with a top wide enough for lamps and your styling items.
