About this piece
Tasmanian blackwood and a woven rattan back give this Parker Model 158 lounge a light, open look for a three-seater. The Parker sofa / lounges are highly desirable and we don't think it'll last long! The fabric is original and in great condition, as such we don't think upholstery is necessary, however get in touch if you'd like reupholstery.
Parker began in Sydney in 1935. Tony Parker joined in 1949, studied industrial design, and brought Scandinavian influence to the range in the early 1950s. The open back makes the piece look more intentional and design focussed, it will sit as comfortably in a smaller living room as a large one.
