About this piece
Pair of classical-form brass urns with crisp decorative castings, including lion head ring handles. Each urn is lidded with an ebonised turned timber top and set on a black circular marble base. Designed for straightforward conversion into table lamps; one urn is shown with an acorn finial at the point where a brass bulb holder would fit, or a brass rod could be used if a higher bulb position is required.
Condition: Structurally excellent with an aged patina. May be cleaned and polished if desired.
Dimensions: 18 cm W (across lion heads) x 35 cm H (to top of lid).
