About this piece

The Model 75 teak writing desk by Gunni Omann for Omann Jun Møbelfabrik is one of the most iconic Danish mid‑century desks, celebrated for its sculptural lines, freestanding form, and exceptional teak craftsmanship. Produced in Denmark in the 1960s, this desk embodies the refined functionality and warm materiality that define Scandinavian modern design.

Crafted in teak veneer with solid teak details, the Model 75 showcases the rich grain, durability, and natural warmth that make Omann Jun pieces highly collectible. The front features six drawers with signature sculpted teak pulls offering generous storage for a home office or studio.

The fully finished back includes open shelves and a drop‑down compartment, allowing the desk to sit beautifully in the centre of a room. This freestanding configuration is a hallmark of the model and a major reason it remains sought after by collectors and interior designers.

With its clean lines, balanced proportions, and timeless Danish aesthetic, the Model 75 is both a functional workspace and a sculptural design object — ideal for mid‑century interiors, contemporary homes, and design‑led workspaces.
