Designed by Sally Dominguez, the Mozzee NEST® "Nest" Highchair was produced and sold until mid-2008. Was purchased in 2004 from Kezu furniture . The Nest highchair is held in the permanent collection of Australia's Powerhouse Museum and in the traveling collection of the V&A in London.There were many high profile owners and the Nest chair won a DesignMark from the Australian Design Awards and a Furniture Award from the Design Institute of Australia.The Nest chair is reminiscent of Eero Saarinen’s 1950s classic “tulip” chairs, with it's smooth modern design and wineglass stand.Not just form over function - it's smooth seat and easy to clean and wipe down . The leg is eventually detachable to become a low chair for a young child As would be expected given its age, there is some small wear to the stand. There is some fading to the tray - This chair would be used as a retro piece Roto-molded Polyethylene: A highly durable, heavy-duty plastic shell that gives the seat its smooth, seamless, futuristic curves.Gloss Finish: The plastic was treated to have a vibrant, high-gloss surface that makes it easy to wipe clean.Anodised Aluminium: The central pedestal stalk, splayed base legs, and tray support arms were crafted from lightweight, rust-resistant metal.
