About this piece
European mid-century rattan basket chairs, likely Netherlands, circa late 1950s to 1960s. Hand-woven rattan shells with rolled edges, set on slim black steel rod legs. Very much in the Rohé Noordwolde / Dirk van Sliedregt style, with that clean post-war European modernist look. Light, sculptural and practical, with a nice natural patina to the cane. Decent condition for age!
