About this piece
The Balmoral pattern was introduced in the 1950s (circa 1953–1956) within Marc Lalique’s post‑war mid-century crystal collections. Marc Lalique—son of founder René Lalique—assumed leadership of the Lalique house in 1945 and redirected production from traditional glass to the heavy, brilliant lead crystal for which the brand became known. This piece reflects the refined surface detail and clarity associated with the Balmoral design language.
