About this piece
The Generation was designed by New Zealand studio Formway Design for Knoll and launched in 2009. It was built on the idea that people do not sit still: they turn, lean sideways and perch.
The Flex Back Net is a single elastomer web in a figure-8 pattern that bends with you in any direction. The top edge of the back folds down to work as an armrest when you sit side-on, and the seat edges flex through 270 degrees.
These are the armless task chairs in black, on a black five-star base with castors.
Condition
Pre-owned. Many available, and each varies, but overall in good used condition. See photos.
Ideal for
Open-plan offices, hot desks, home offices and project rooms.
