About this piece
A striking example of 1970s Italian design, this shallow circular platter is crafted from a rich, toffee-hued acrylic embedded with natural wheat straw stems. The stippled, autumnal ground adds depth with its organic effect that varies with the light.
Unlike contemporary reproductions, original pieces like this offer a more nuanced texture and complexity of tone. We've photographed the bowl under varied lighting conditions to highlight the translucent quality and shifting colour palette of the piece.
Condition: very good vintage condition with only minor signs of wear.
