About this piece
A stunning vintage Harrachov "Harrtil" art glass vase, expertly hand-blown in the Czech Republic and showcasing one of the most distinctive decorative techniques of Bohemian glassmaking.
The vase features a graceful asymmetric teardrop form enhanced by an intricate white lattice pattern suspended within layers of clear and pink crystal. The delicate filigrana-style network creates remarkable depth and movement, while the sculptural pulled rim adds elegance and fluidity to the overall design.
Viewed from different angles, the layered glass reveals constantly changing reflections and optical effects, making this piece equally successful as a decorative sculpture or display vase.
The combination of soft pink tones, heavy crystal construction and exceptional craftsmanship makes this an eye-catching example of late twentieth-century Czech studio glass.
