About this piece
Striking Post-Modern Palladiana dining table consisting of fragmented marble chunks set into a mosaic-style matrix. The surface is finished with high-gloss resin which brings out the vivid green stone fragments. Following a classis monolithic postmodern silhouette with a heavy, clean-lined rectangular tabletop sitting atop a matching solid stone block/pedestal base.
This style emerged prominently out of European stone workshops during the 1970's and 1980's, where fabrication techniques were adapted into bold, structural furniture statements and are today, highly sought after.
