At its centre, a useful single drawer offers practical storage, complete with a turned wooden knob and traditional dovetail joints, showcasing the fine craftsmanship of the era. The table stands gracefully on curved cabriole legs, a hallmark of Victorian design, which terminate in intricately carved lion’s paw feet, adding a regal and classical touch.
While this piece has stood the test of time, it does show minor wear consistent with its age, adding to its character. Some very minor restoration work has been carried out on the corners, carefully finished to blend seamlessly with the original wood.
