This handsome Victorian cedar hall table, dating to circa 1880, exudes timeless elegance with its rich golden patina that has developed beautifully over more than 145 years. Crafted from solid Australian cedar, the table features a smooth rectangular top, perfect for a refined entryway or living space.

At its centre, a useful single drawer offers practical storage, complete with a turned wooden knob and traditional dovetail joints, showcasing the fine craftsmanship of the era. The table stands gracefully on curved cabriole legs, a hallmark of Victorian design, which terminate in intricately carved lion’s paw feet, adding a regal and classical touch.

While this piece has stood the test of time, it does show minor wear consistent with its age, adding to its character. Some very minor restoration work has been carried out on the corners, carefully finished to blend seamlessly with the original wood. This is reflected in the price, making it an excellent opportunity to acquire a genuine Victorian antique with charm and history (see photos).

A sophisticated yet practical addition to any home, this Victorian cedar hall table is a testament to 19th-century craftsmanship, bringing warmth, history, and refined style to any interior.
