A magnificent Ca’ Rezzonico-style Murano chandelier, inspired by the elegant elongated form of the traditional Venetian barchetta - a small, curved Venetian boat.
Handcrafted in Italy using traditional Murano glassmaking techniques, this exceptional chandelier features an elegant two-tiered structure, with sweeping arms formed using the historic a bossole technique. This intricate process involves interlocking multiple sections of hand-blown glass to create the chandelier’s distinctive length and sculptural form.
The clear Murano glass is complemented by delicate gold-leaf detailing, creating a warm, luminous finish throughout. Fine glass pendants, or ciondoli, descend from the arms, adding further movement and detail to this highly decorative piece.
At approximately 1800mm wide x 1200mm high, its elongated proportions make it particularly striking above a large dining table, entrance hall or expansive living space.
