About this piece
Italy
c. 1960
A ceramic bowl by Fratelli Fanciullacci, Italy, featuring an organic hand-formed shape and richly mottled glaze in tones of rose, cream and green. The applied decorative elements and expressive surface give the piece a lively, tactile characteristic of Fancialucci's mid-century work.
Beautiful as a small centrepiece, catchall or displayed as an object in its own right, where the colour and form can be appreciated from every angle.
