About this piece
Flerclub 2-seater: a rare classic Australian Blackwood and brown vinyl sofa. Designed by Fred Lowen in the early 1960s, 2-seaters are hard to find.
New foam and freshly handmade cushions covered with black pineapple vegan leather alternative material, aka vegan plant leather. The material is a non-woven textile made from leaves of pineapple plants, a byproduct of existing agriculture that requires no extra land, water, or pesticides.
The durable and soft material is used in fashion accessories, footwear, and upholstery, offering a sustainable, cruelty-free option that reduces agricultural waste.
Makers mark and stickerat the back of the sofa as per photos. The frame is in good original condition.
