About this piece
A beautifully sculptural crystal vase by Daum, France, dating from approximately the 1970s, a period associated with bold, organic forms in French art glass.
This piece stands out for its exceptionally balanced proportions — compact yet visually strong, with a refined presence that works effortlessly as a decorative object.
The form reveals a subtle star-shaped symmetry, clearly structured and harmonious, while maintaining the unmistakable freeform, flowing movement characteristic of Daum. This interplay between precision and organic fluidity gives the piece a distinctly architectural quality.
Crafted in thick, high-quality clear crystal, it captures and refracts light beautifully from every angle.
The base is acid-etched “Daum France”, confirming authenticity.
A refined example of French crystal — elegant, sculptural, and timeless.
