About this piece
Fabulous set of 6 Mid-Century harlequin, bamboo etched tumblers.
For the collector - the purple and blue glass have a thicker bamboo etching whick shows "authentic manufacturing variation"
- Manual Etching Variation: These bamboo designs were often applied by hand-guided wheels or stencils. A worker on the "purple line" might have applied more pressure or used a slightly different tool than the one doing the "amber" or "blue" glasses.
The glasses are in very good condition show very little wear and tear as an everyday glass. There are some inconsisties in the rim on the green glass although I think it is more manufacturing then chips
