A large Chiswell Koben sideboard in teak, with the clean lines the Sydney maker is renowned for.
Koben was a range name Chiswell used on its pieces and they have become highly desirable and collectible. The Sydney maker began around 1920 supplying Grace Bros, and its 1960s teak is the most collected period of its work. Four doors and three drawers for a dining room wall, or a long base for art and lamps in a living room.
