Details
This glazed pottery decanter was made for the "Ye Olde Crusty Winebar", which was set up by Leo Buring in George St., Sydney in the 1930's. The maker is unknown, but Florenz could be a possibility.
It stands 215 mm high and has a diameter of 128 mm. Its condition is very good, however it does have some crazing, and around the base it appears spilled red wine has coloured some of the crazing. It would date from the 1930's.
