About this piece
Flame birch has a rippled figure that moves as the light changes, and on this Asko sideboard it gives a simple form real depth and a visual interest rarely seen in the mid century period.
Made in Finland in the 1960s, with three doors and two drawers in a compact length for a dining room or living room, it could easily be used as a sideboard, TV unit or entryway table.
