Constructed in timber with a muted rose upholstered seat and inset back panel, this armchair sits within the Arts and Crafts tradition while carrying clear Art Nouveau influence through its curving rails and stylised leaf inlay. Teardrop finials rise from the back and arms, joined by slender turned spindles and restrained geometric decoration across the crest rail and apron. Its character lies in the concentration of detail at the joints and terminals, allowing the tall back and open frame to remain visually light. The result is an elegant and slightly eccentric chair with a formal vertical presence and the warmth of visibly worked timber.
