This is a large sized and a very good example of a high quality finely detailed genuine antique Japanese Meiji period later 1800s Kyoto ware lidded Vase with heavily gilded decoration including the Shimazu circular family crest, the ‘immortals’ beautifully painted and some in raised form plus a ‘golden’ Dragon.
This quality item is well marked on the under side including the potter and the painters names.
