About this piece
Description: This antique French oak sideboard showcases the quality craftsmanship and elegant detailing associated with traditional French furniture. Constructed in solid oak, it features three drawers to the frieze above a generously proportioned two-door cupboard, providing excellent storage for dining, living or hallway settings.
The façade is richly decorated with classical Rococo-inspired carved panel mouldings incorporating flowing scrollwork, floral blooms and foliate motifs across the drawer fronts, door frames and central panels. The warm oak grain is complemented by cast metal drop handles, enhancing the sideboard's authentic period character.
The cupboard retains its original key and opens to reveal a spacious interior fitted with one adjustable shelf, allowing the storage space to be configured to suit a variety of items. The combination of practical storage, finely carved decoration and solid oak construction makes this an impressive statement piece for both traditional and contemporary interiors.
