Details

A very superior quality set of six genuine antique English William IV dining chairs circa 1835 with prestigious, exotic Central American Rosewood timber ‘show frames’ with hand caned seats. The carved top rail and lower bar backs are carved embellished in the Egyptian taste. The front legs are turned downward tapered and reeded and the rear legs are of sabre form.

These chairs are in excellent and desirable near original condition. The cane has been replaced at a later stage. Tie on seat cushions ( called squabs) can be custom made and upholstered to taste and we can organise this on a purchasers behalf.
